Mission Peak in Fremont, CA (Part 1)

Today I will share with you some pictures of Mission Peak. Today I'm going to focus on the landscape view of the whole Bay Area and some plants. In my Part 2/3 post I will focus more on the wildlife there. Hope you enjoy it. Mission Peak is a mountain in Fremont, CA, USA. I sometimes go hiking there because I live pretty close.

Full Resolution Photos and Prints: If you want to see full resolution photos or buy prints of any of the photos you see, they are up on my portfolio for viewing. View my best Fremont Mission Peak photos here. View all of my Fremont Mission Peak photos here.

You can't see much trees on Mission Peak. HAHA, if you look it's usually a yellow empty mountain due to the dried grass and stuff.

Part of the trail. Now you can see what I mean in the last photo's comments. XD

Buckwheat (Eriogonum) (I think)
Picture taking tip: For beginners, set your camera on macro mode for close up pictures. Remember to switch your camera back to fully automatic mode after taking the picture. For best results, I'd suggest you use a Digital SLR camera.
