Devil's Cornfield/Random Scenery - Death Valley National Park (Part 38)

At the end of November last year (2012), I took a trip to Death Valley National Park. This is the second trip there in my life. The 1st time I went, I was still a little kid, and I didn't start taking photos yet. This time, I have a pro camera and I am ready to shoot the scenery. Death Valley National Park is known for its "out of this world" scenery, UFO sightings, and many other things. The desert is a very mysterious and beautiful place. In this chain of blog posts, I will be showing you mainly photos of Death Valley National Park, but also photos from surrounding areas like The Mojave Desert, Alabama Hills, and Rhyolite Ghost Town. I have picked out over 400 photos from my trip to show you guys and I will be dividing them into many blog posts. Unlike blog  post chains before, I obviously can't put a link of ever blog post on every single blog post, so instead, I will do the same thing I did for my Yellowstone National Park photos before, by sticking a link of the Next and Previous post on each blog post instead.

Full Resolution Photos and Prints: If you want to see full resolution photos or buy prints of any of the photos you see, they are up on my portfolio for viewing. Message from the Photographer: Sorry about the delay in photos. I went shopping yesterday so I didn't get any time to post. Here are some new photos for you to view today.

Today I have some scenery from random places on the side of the road in Death Valley National Park including Devil's Cornfield. Don't really have specific locations for these photos so I can't give them to you. Remember, in Death Valley National Park, half of the great views are on the side of the road! Don't just drive from one view point to another. Make sure you look off to the side as you drive through the park too! Hope you enjoy viewing these photos.

Devils Cornfield is just a small view point on the side of the road. If you want to see it, drive slow! It is very easy to miss as the sign is tiny. Here is a photo of a sign so you know what to expect if you do visit.

Here is some scenery at Devil's Cornfield. I'm guessing it is named that because of the amount of desert plants that thrive there.

A panorama at Devil's Cornfield.

More scenery of Devil's Cornfield.

Scenery at Devil's Cornfield.

Another shot of Devil's Cornfield.

After driving off from Devil's Cornfield, I noticed tire tracks off to the side of the road. Thought it would make great lead-in lines so here is a shot! I think the tire tracks are made by probably a ranger as driving off-road is illegal in the park.

Panorama off the side of the road.

Another scenery shot off the side of the road of the tire tracks.

These are all the photos for today. I hope you have enjoyed viewing them. Next time I will have photos from Mosaic Canyon. Please don't forget to share the blog post with your friends and family members!
