Crissy Field, Fort Point, and Presidio - San Francisco, CA (9/26/2016)

Last month on September 26th, 2016, I took a trip to San Francisco, CA. There was a pretty bad heat wave in the entire Bay Area and I had to leave Pleasanton in order to not get baked in the 100°F+ heat. I decided to go to to San Francisco, CA where it is nice an cool (which isn't entirely true because Downtown SF was around 88°F). On my trip, I visited Crissy Field East Beach, Crissy Field Wildlife Protection Area, Fort Point National Historic Site, and Torpedo Wharf at Presidio. It was around a nice 80°F along the coast. I shot some photos on my trip. In this blog post, I will show you the photos I shot on my DSLR. I also shot photos on my phone (can be viewed here) and a vlog (can be viewed here).

Big Basin State Park, CA

Last month I took a trip to Big Basin State Park to the headquarters area in Boulder Creek, CA located in the Santa Cruz mountains. Big Basin State Park is a park filled with Coast Redwoods (Sequoia sempervirens). This is not the first time I've been to this park, but the last time I went was when I was very little. I don't remember much from that trip at all. This time, I went to hike and take photos. I hope you enjoy. I also shot vlog on this trip, if you wish to check it out, you can do so here.

I took the trip on August 16th, 2016. I took quite a lot of trips/photo shoots in the month of August, so I didn't have much time to work on my photos. Then in September, I experienced several viral infections (my immune system is horrible) which delayed my photo processing even further. This is why I'm only getting around to posting these photos now. I hope you enjoy viewing the photos.

Half Moon Bay, CA

Last month I took a trip to Shark Fin Cove in Davenport, CA and Half Moon Bay, CA. In this blog post, I'm going to show you my Half Moon Bay photos. You can see my Shark Fin Cove photos in the previous blog post here. The photos from Half Moon Bay was area near Sam's Chowder House (which is where I had my dinner that day). I also shot vlog on this trip, so don't forget to check it out!

I took the trip on August 15th, 2016. I took quite a lot of trips/photo shoots in the month of August, so I didn't have much time to work on my photos. As I mentioned, these photos were shot near Sam's Chowder House in Half Moon Bay, CA. I had my dinner there that day. The restaurant is very popular, especially on the weekend. I went there once on a weekend wanting dinner, and they told me there will be quite a long wait for a table to free up. The food was delicious and fresh, but it was a bit on the expensive side. The menu offers quite a lot of seafood and their clam chowder is great. The restaurant offers heated outdoor seating and has a take out option too. There is a walk way down to the beach from the parking lot with a few picnic tables along the road in case you wanted to eat "picnic style". In the restaurant, you have an awesome view of the ocean and beach. It is a beautiful restaurant, great for a semi-formal dinner with someone.
