Terms of Use/Legal Information

By using this blog and viewing the photos and other content on here, you are to follow the following rules. I know some of the things listed here sounds harsh, but it is to protect me and my work, like a lot of companies. If you read their Terms of Use, you will usually find harsh sounding things too.

You may:
  • Share the link to the blog posts with anyone you wish.
  • Share the photo's link with anyone you wish.
  • Anything the law allows you to do.
  • Anything I have permitted you to do in a written consent (email, snail mail, written contract, etc).
You may not:
  • Remove the watermark (if there is one) unless you have written consent from me (email, snail mail, written contract, etc).
  • Claim my work is your work.
  • Use my work for commercial purposes unless you have written consent from me (email, snail mail, written contract, etc).
  • Try to make money off of my work unless you have written consent from me (email, snail mail, written contract, etc)
  • Make prints of my work unless you have written consent from me (email, snail mail, written contract, etc).

Please remember, your IP address is recorded by Statcounter! Your IP address will remain private unless forbidden by the law.
If you want a photo for personal use, please email me. My contact information can be found here. Also email me if you have any questions or comments about these rules, or if you would like to ask me for special permission.

Any use of my photo requires you to credit me for my photos unless you have written consent from me (email, snail mail, written contract, etc). The attribution is to include my name (Eric (Sunny) Wu) and a link to my blog. This is to be done in a fairly visible location and is NOT to be placed in a location that is demeaning or ruins the photographers reputation. If the photo is used, and the photographer (me) asks you to take it down or change the way you are using it, you are to take it down or change the way you are using it with out further delay. The photographer reserves the right to request a photo to be taken down, even if nothing is done wrong! If the photo is not taken down after being requested to do so or if changes the photographer requested are not performed, the photographer reserves the right to sue you or contact authorities to have the photo taken down. If the photographer does not find a method of contacting you about the posting, the photographer reserves the right to skip trying to contact you and go ahead to sue you or contact authorities to have the photo taken down. I will generally not do this, unless I deem that the photo is being severely misused. The photographer reserves the right to determine the appropriateness of the use of a photo. If you post my photos in a public place or on the internet, you are NOT to modify the images.

My photos are not to be placed on any website or forum that:
  • Contains adult content (18+).
  • Contains nudity.
  • Contains real violence, blood, war zone photos.
  • Pornographic sites.
If you wish you use my photos for commercial purposes or wish to sell my work (for profit or not), we can work it out over email. My contact information can be found here.

Any rules may be nullified if:
  • The law permits you.
  • You have explicit written permission from me (email, snail mail, written contract, etc).
The above statements were not approved or evaluated by an attorney or lawyer.
