Capilano Suspension Bridge Park/Horseshoe Bay Park - Vancouver, BC, Canada

From 7/17/2013 to 8/2/2013, I took a road trip from the SF Bay Area to Vancouver, BC, Canada. Half of the trip was spent driving up the west coast. On my trip, I visited many famous places such as Seattle, Butchart Gardens, Mount Rainier, and much more. Obviously I got many coastal shots and many places that isn't as famous. The reason I am posting it now is because the high amount of photos I took equaled a high amount of processing time. I took a bit over 2000 photos on the trip. After stitching the panoramas, compositing the HDRs, and picking out photos from the repeats, I have a bit over 1000 photos to show you guys. The photos will be split into parts. I will link you to the previous and next parts on each post just like I did with my Death Valley National Park photos and my Yellowstone/Grand Teton National Park photos. Today I have photos from Capilano Suspension Bridge Park in North Vancouver, BC and Horseshoe Bay Park in West Vancouver, BC.

 At KIA'PALANO in Capilano Suspension Bridge Park.

For this park, I felt it was a bit boring actually. This park might be more fun for little kids, but for adults, it isn't much. I felt like the entrance fee was a really big rip off. I didn't have much fun, and honestly, I've seen better views back in the states. If you don't have kids, I recommend you just skip this place. The place is overrated.

The transparent glass at Cliffwalk. I didn't feel scared going on there for some reason. Reminds me of the Grand Canyon Skywalk. Never went to that on my trip a few years back because my parents said most people get so scared, they don't even make it onto the walk. At first, I felt a bit scared, but after I got on, it felt like normal.

I get to Horseshoe Bay Park in West Vancouver, BC, Canada just in time for sunset.

That night, my family and I ate food at C-Lovers Fish & Chips. Well we had it "to go" and ate at this park. I would definitely recommend them. I love fish and chips! The restaurant's food was very cheap and it tasted very good. It was one of the best meals I had on this trip. In fact, I didn't know they gave such big portions for the price, I actually over ordered. Ended up saving some fries for the next day.

Today I have photos from Cleveland Dam in North Vancouver, BC.

 Clearer view of the Capilano Lake. Normally you can not take a photo from this angle as there is a giant fence in the way. I had someone lift up my camera along with my tripod while I shot the photo via an OTG cable on my Android phone.

Eye of the Wind - Grouse Mountain - North Vancouver, BC (Part 5)

Today I will show the last of my photos from Grouse Mountain in North Vancouver, BC, Canada. Grouse Mountain is a ski resort in North Vancouver, that is also open as a tourist attraction when there is no snow. When there is now snow, they have several shows, a wildlife conservation habitat, and a wind energy display called "Eye of the Wind" for tourists to observe. Today I have photos from on top of the Eye of the Wind turbine and my trip back down the mountain.

Today I will continue my photos from Grouse Mountain in North Vancouver, BC, Canada. Grouse Mountain is a ski resort in North Vancouver, that is also open as a tourist attraction when there is no snow.
