Yesterday I took a walk through Don Edwards National Wildlife Refuge and Coyote Hills Regional Park in Fremont, CA and Newark CA and took some cellphone photos. I hope you enjoy viewing them.

Message From The Photographer: If you have been following me on social media for a little while, you'd know I've been dealing with vision impairment for over a year now. I hope these photos turned out somewhat well. I take these photos half blind as I can't see my phone screen very clearly. I always have someone with me on these hikes to make sure I don't accidentally injure myself.

Coyote Hills Regional Park - Fremont, CA

From 7/16/2016 to 7/28/2016, I hit up three separate East Bay Regional Parks here in the San Francisco Bay Area. I visited Redwood Regional Park in Oakland, CA, Coyote Hills Regional Park in Fremont, CA, and Lake Chabot Regional Park in Castro Valley, CA. I have an annual pass this year, so I do plan on taking more photography trips to these parks. I want to exercise and get fit so I can do a camping trip up in the Sierras here in California sometime. I've been thinking about a trip like that for a while now. Not to mention, I really need to loose some weight. Enough about me though, I am here to share the photos I took at the parks with you guys. Birds in Coyote Hills Regional Park (Fremont, CA)

Coyote Hills Regional Park is a park in the East Bay Park District and is located in Fremont, CA. The park is a wonderful place for biking, walking, and wildlife photography. When I used to live back in Fremont, I went to the park a lot. The park is abundant with wildlife, especially birds. I have seen many birds there on my trips. Today I will be showing some bird photos I took in the park.

I believe this is a pair of Mallard Ducks (Anas platyrhynchos) but I can't be sure.

Coyote Hills Regional Park Scenery (Fremont, CA)

Today I have scenery photos from Coyote Hills Regional Park in Fremont, CA. All of the photos for today are taken with my new Canon EOS 5D Mark III. These photos include one HDR composition and some regular scenery shots. I hope you enjoy viewing the photos. If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area, definitely check out Coyote Hills Regional Park. It is a great place for photography, bike riding, walking around, and hiking. There are both walking and hiking trails in the park.

I recently gotten into some 32-bit HDR work. Here is an HDR composition of the walking trail there. Looks really natural doesn't it? I suggest you give 32-bit processing a try. 

Got down low with my tripod but shadow still showed up. :/ I guess it does add a bit to the photo though.
