These photos were shot on my mirrorless camera. Our first stop was the Point Reyes Lighthouse.

Travel Tip: Note that the walk down the steps (over 300 of them) to the lighthouse is easy, but going back up is much harder.

These photos were shot on my cellphone. Our first stop was the Point Reyes Lighthouse. All of my cellphone photos were shot at Point Reyes Lighthouse.

Travel Tip: Note that the walk down the steps (over 300 of them) is easy, but going back up is much harder. My dad injured himself a while back (the guy with the crutches in my photos is him) so our family has a temporary disabled placard to use (allows you to drive up to the visitor center, but you have to undo the chains at the gate). If you do not have a disabled person with a disabled placard with you, you might not be able to find parking on weekends. When we went, all the regular parking spaces were occupied and quite a few cars were parked in the "No Parking Zones". If you want to visit, try to visit on a Friday, and not during summer.

The stairs are numbered. The last step was step #308.

After Goat Rock State Beach, our family decided to check out the Russian River Bridge in Jenner, CA. The last time we were here was in 2013, and we were on our road trip driving up to British Columbia, Canada. We knew the bridge would be pretty during sunset.
