First Signs of Spring in Pleasanton, CA

Here are some photos I shot in the city of Pleasanton, CA where I live. These are my first photos of Pleasanton this year. The photos are from Arroyo Del Valle Trail. If you follow me here, you'd know that is the walking trail close to my house and I take walks there often! As spring approaches, I noticed flowers blooming and new baby birds being hatched. I decided to take my camera out for a photo shoot a few weeks back. I hope you enjoy viewing these photos! Photos were shot on 3/6/2014.

Full Resolution Photos and Prints: If you want to see full resolution photos or buy prints of any of the photos you see, they are up on my portfolio for viewing. To view my best Pleasanton photos for 2013 to 2014, use this link. Another flower blossom. This tree had very few.

This is a photo of the Yellow Rumped Warbler (Dendroica coronata). I think it could have been a baby as it looked a lot smaller than the ones I've seen.

These are all the photos for today. I hope you have enjoyed viewing them. I may start my photos from China trip next time, so make sure you check back! Birds in Coyote Hills Regional Park (Fremont, CA)

Coyote Hills Regional Park is a park in the East Bay Park District and is located in Fremont, CA. The park is a wonderful place for biking, walking, and wildlife photography. When I used to live back in Fremont, I went to the park a lot. The park is abundant with wildlife, especially birds. I have seen many birds there on my trips. Today I will be showing some bird photos I took in the park.

I believe this is a pair of Mallard Ducks (Anas platyrhynchos) but I can't be sure.

Sparrows, Scrub Jays, and Robins

Today I have photos of the Gold-crowned Sparrow (Zonotrichia atricapilla), the Western Scrub Jay (Aphelocoma californica), and the American Robin (Turdus migratorius). All of the photos were taken on Pleasanton Trail (Arroyo Del Valle Trail) except the first 2 robin photos. The first 2 robin photos were taken in my front yard. Pleasanton Trial is located in Pleasanton, California.

The first three photos are of the Gold-crowned Sparrow (Zonotrichia atricapilla).

These 3 photos are of the Western Scrub Jay (Aphelocoma californica).

Remember the baby robin photos I posted a while back? I have a feeling this might be one of the babies all grown up! ^_^ If you are new here and don't know what I'm talking about, check out this blog post.

I think this one might be the momma robin. Sure looks similar to the photos I've taken back then, but who knows? There are lot's of robins around my area. LOL

This robin photo was taken on Pleasanton Trail. Too far away to be related to the other 2 robins.

That is all the photos I got for today! I hope you have enjoyed it! Please don't forget to share the blog post with your friends!
