In this blog post, I have part 2 of my photos from Redwood Regional Park in Oakland, CA. The photos for today are of flowers, mushrooms, plants, and scenery. They are all shot on or near Stream Trail.

Message From The Photographer: If you've been following me on social media, you'd know I've been dealing with vision impairment and gradual vision loss since August 2018. The conditions are neurological, so my vision isn't impaired the same amount on a daily basis, but overall it seems to be going down hill. It has slowed down and made taking photos, processing photos, using computers, etc... very challenging and somewhat depressing. Some days it is impossible for me to take photos or process them. I know these photos are from a very long time ago, but I'm only just starting to get around in processing them as I'm only able to work on them at a very slow pace. I hope you can understand, and I hope you enjoy viewing the photos.

Redwood Regional Park - Oakland, CA (Cellphone Photos)

On September 24th, 2018, I went to Redwood Regional Park in Oakland to shoot my bow for practice and exercise and to take a walk. The photos I'll show you today are of Coast Redwoods (Sequoia sempervirens) from my walk along Stream Trail taken with my phone.

East Bay Regional Park Cellphone Photos

I've been exercising a ton in East Bay Regional Parks in the San Francisco Bay Area lately. I took some cellphone photos on my trips. Here are the photos I took.
On February 20th, I went to Redwood Regional Park in Oakland, CA. I took photos of Coast Redwoods (Sequoia sempervirens).
On February 21th, I did a 9 mile look around Lake Chabot in Lake Chabot Regional Park in Castro Valley, CA.
Yesterday, on February 27th, I took a hike through Pleasanton Ridge Regional Park in Sunol, CA. You can see snow on the distant hills. It has been extremely cold this year. Snow in the SF Bay Area is pretty rare. My friend took photos of more snow in the morning. My hike was a bit late so a lot has melted. This is the first time I saw this much snow in the bay area out of living here for almost two decades.

An eucalyptus tree that has fallen across the trail. I did end up helping clear a bit of the foliage with my Swiss Army Knife to help out other hikers, but my saw was too small to remove more.
