Pleasanton, CA & Cooking (Cellphone Photos)

I took some cellphone photos on a walk in Pleasanton, CA. Here are the photos I took, plus photos of me cooking that night.

The propane tank got so cold there is frost on it. It was easier to cook outside as our electric stove doesn't get hot enough.

Pleasanton Autumn Foliage & Mushrooms (11/28/2016)

Last month, I went on a photo shoot of autumn foliage and mushrooms around Pleasanton, CA. It is that time of the year again, and after some rain storms, the mushrooms began to grow too. I would have shared these photos earlier, but I have been quite busy since the past month so I didn't get around to processing the photos until recently. I hope you enjoy though. The photos in this blog post is shot on 11/28/2016. All of the photos in this post was shot with the help of a Canon 600EX-RT Speedlite.

Mushrooms & Clouds - Spring in Pleasanton (February 2016)

Back in February 12th and February 16th, I went out and took some springtime photos around Pleasanton, CA. I took photos spring flower blossoms, mushrooms, clouds, and wildlife. Some of the photos are from Pleasanton Tennis & Community Park. You maybe wondering why I am posting these photos so late. If you have been following me here or on social media, you would know my old computer broke down (so no photo processing), I had to set up a new computer, and I had to deal with some health issues. All the things going on in my life delayed my work by a very long time. I still hope you enjoy viewing these photos though. The photos from my photo shoots will be split into a few separate blog posts.

Lake Chabot Regional Park - Castro Valley, CA

Today I have some photos I took at Lake Chabot Regional Park in Castro Valley, CA. These photos will include wildlife photos, landscape photos, and some macro photos that I took in the park. The park is a great place to visit and offers very long walking trails. If you are around the area, you should pay a visit to the park sometime. :)

A macro shot of some moss and fungi growing on a tree. This is a focus stacked shot. For more on focus stacking, check out my tutorial here. As with all my macro photos, I took the photo with the help of my Kenko Extension Tubes and my Canon Speedlite 600EX-RT.
