Fort Point (Part 2) - San Francisco, CA

This past Sunday (3/30/2014), National Geographic's Your Shot Team hosted a photo walk out at The Warming Hut (Torpedo Wharf) in San Francisco, CA. I am here to show you the photos I shot while on the photo walk. I also headed to Fort Point after the photo walk and shot some photos there too. The photos will be split into several parts. I hope you enjoy viewing them.

Full Resolution Photos and Prints: If you want to see full resolution photos or buy prints of any of the photos you see, they are up on my portfolio for viewing.
Parts: National Geographic Your Shot Photo Walk | Presidio & Fort Point (Part 1) | Fort Point (Part 2) |

Here is what Fort Point looks like from the top.

Here is a photo of a tower in Fort Point. I'm guessing it must be a guard tower or a lighthouse.

A photo shot inside one of the rooms of Fort Point facing the doors and the spiral stairs. I thought it made a very nice composition.

The photos for today are from Presidio (near Torpedo Wharf) and Fort Point National Historic Site in San Francisco, CA. The sunrise shots you see was shot before the National Geographic Event. The rest of the photos were shot after the end of the event.

Here is a sunrise photo shot at Presidio near Torpedo Wharf. The National Geographic Photowalk started at around 7 AM. Just in time for sunrise.

Here is another photo of the sunrise from a sightly different angle.

Here is a photo of the Golden Gate Bridge with the sunrise light shining on it. Photo shot also near Torpedo Wharf.

Now I head inside the museum (which originally was the living quarters) of Fort Point. I thought the hallway looked very nice so I shot a photo.

I walked down the hallway and turned around for another photo.

Pictures from SF Bay Area

Today I got pictures from the SF (San Francisco) Bay Area. I know I said San Francisco pictures, but when I looked today, I found out half of the pictures is from other places in the bay. ROFL The last 4 pictures is from San Francisco though...

今天我又湾区的照片。我本来以为我只有旧金山的照片,可是我回去一看我还找到了一些在湾区别的拍的照片。哈哈!最后三张是在旧金山拍的。

Full Resolution Photos and Prints: If you want to see full resolution photos or buy prints of any of the photos you see, they are up on my portfolio for viewing here.

Now it's San Francisco pictures. HAHA

City!

You can see Alcatraz Island in the far back. To be honest, I don't think the island is really that far off... I wonder why the prisoners that used to be there can't swim back to shore. ROFL

The Golden Gate Bridge. I've seen it so many times, it's like not really new to me. When I first came to America, I was like, "WOW! THAT IS A REALLY COOL BRIDGE!" Now I'm like, "So is there any other bridges? I've seen this one way too many times..." LOL

And about the Yellowstone and Grand Teton videos... I've got 2 videos uploaded, and trying to upload the 3rd one... It keeps failing... What really pissed me off was it reached 100% this morning and it said failed due to unknown error. I was like WTF? IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?! Might take a while... Next time, I'll be posting my Las Vegas pictures.
