CES Las Vegas Day 1 (Cellphone Photos)

I attended CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2019 in Las Vegas, NV. I went the last 2 days of the convention. I saw quite some cool tech there. I shot cellphone photos and DSLR photos at the event. The photos will be split into several blog posts. Use the links below to navigate.

Parts:
These are my cellphone photos from day 1.

Razer Booth

Kodak PixPro Orbit 360 4K
A 360° 4K camera from Kodak.

Blues Microphones Yeti Nano
A smaller version of the popular Yeti microphone that can be used with iOS and Android devices.

UBTECH Walker Robot

OMRON Ping Pong Robot

DJI Booth

Deseret Electrafly

Hover Cars

Horizon Robotics Dense Crowd Spatial-Temporal Structuring Solution from Horizon Robotics Booth.

Samsung Bot

IBM Q System One Quantum Computer

Upscaling lower resolution video to 4K using AI. I personally couldn't see too much difference, but do note I don't have that good of vision. Yes, I know kind of weird with me being a photographer, but my vision is actually worse than people of my age and I think my reading vision is degrading. It was interesting to see though. I'm not saying the technology is bad, it is just my poor eyes couldn't see much difference and I find myself recently needing to magnify things in order to read them. AI is huge this year.
Brought to you by SK Telecom and SM Entertainment from South Korea.

Eldorado National Forest (Aerial Scenery) - Tahoe Trip

Last December, I took a trip to Lake Tahoe and visited some surrounding areas. I visited Eldorado and Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, South Lake Tahoe, Tahoe City, Stateline, NV, Washoe Lake, Virgnia City, NV, and more. Here are the photos I took on the trip. If you want to see the vlog I taped for this trip, you can do so here.

This is the last part of the photos from my trip. The photos are of aerial scenery shot in Eldorado National Forest with my DJI Phantom 3 Professional Quadcopter. I also have a scenery video from Caples Lake at the end of this blog post. I have been traveling a lot lately which is why the blog posts are a bit late. I haven't had time to work on the photos.

This will be the last of my aerial photos for a while. During my last flight on this trip, my drone was attacked by a hawk and suffered water damage. The only reason the aircraft even flew back was because the propellers didn't dip underwater which is how it pulled itself out of the free fall. CES Las Vegas Day 2

I attended Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2018 in Las Vegas, NV. I went the last 2 days of the convention. I saw quite some cool tech there and met Linus from Linus Tech Tips YouTube Channel. I shot video, cellphone photos, and DSLR photos at the event. The photos will be split into several blog posts. Use the links below to navigate.

Parts:
These are my DSLR photos from day 2, my last day at the convention.

BenjiLock (Fingerprint Padlock)

Racer Heated Gloves at Racer Gloves Booth.
The company makes battery heated gloves for motorcycle riding and winter sports. Seems like a great company for wilderness photographers if they designed some for photography use. Wilderness photographers like me constantly have to deal with cold hands especially during the winter. It would be cool if they made some heavy duty gloves with finger tips that can be unzipped or folded away temporarily for operating a camera.

TwinsWheel Logistics Droid (Warehouse Robot)

A random photo from Eureka Park.

Tapia AI Robot Companion

The One Smart Piano

Bio-Key Fingerprint Locks

Hisense Booth

 Frame TV (Art Display)
The photo really doesn't do it justice as I was using a really powerful flash. When I was at the convention, I couldn't believe my eyes. I had to walk up and touch it to believe it was a screen and not a real painting. This is really innovative.

Casio G-Shock at Casio Booth
The watch has GPS, solar-assisted recharging, is mud-resistant, and connects to smartphone.

Zink Zero Ink Camera at Polaroid Booth.

Ultra 8K HDMI Cable using fiber.

NASA Booth

NASA Gecko Gripper at NASA Booth.
This thing can cling to practically any vertical surface with easy. The NASA engineer told me they are planning on using this technology on the ISS and future missions.

Model of a NASA Rover at NASA Booth.
I'm guessing they are going to send this to Mars?

Model of the Orion SLS (Space Launch System) at NASA Booth.
Specifications according to NASA's pamphlet: 322 ft tall, weighs 5.75 million pounds, 8.8 million pounds of thrust, and max speed of 22,600 mph.

DJI Mavic Pro Platinum at DJI Booth.

Lego DJI Drone at DJI Booth.

Emotix Miko Companion Robot

ZTE Axon M Dual Screen Android Smartphone at ZTE Booth.
