To visit the part of the park you see in this blog post, you do have to live in Pleasanton or have someone from Pleasanton take you as driving up to the park involves driving through a small gated community and the guards for the community does check. Sometimes they do allow people from nearby cities to also enter. You can also hike in from Pleasanton Ridge Regional Park but be prepared to hike for a very very long time.

Now I arrive at Pleasanton Ridge Regional Park in Sunol, CA. Here is a photo of the hiking trail covered in autumn leaves. I'm sure the county have rangers maintaining this road or I bet the main trail would be covered in leaves too. There are sure a lot of leaves on the side of the trail.

You probably guessed this. The next thing I did was get up close to the leaves on the side of the road for a close up shot of the autumn foliage.

Picked another spot where the mix of colors was slightly different and took another close up shot of the autumn foliage.
