Lake Chabot Regional Park - Castro Valley, CA

Today I have some photos I took at Lake Chabot Regional Park in Castro Valley, CA. These photos will include wildlife photos, landscape photos, and some macro photos that I took in the park. The park is a great place to visit and offers very long walking trails. If you are around the area, you should pay a visit to the park sometime. :)

Full Resolution Photos and Prints: If you want to see full resolution photos or buy prints of any of the photos you see, they are up on my portfolio for viewing. To view my best work for Lake Chabot Regional Park, use this link. To view all of my 2013 Lake Chabot Regional Park photos here.

A macro shot of some moss and fungi growing on a tree. This is a focus stacked shot. For more on focus stacking, check out my tutorial here. As with all my macro photos, I took the photo with the help of my Kenko Extension Tubes and my Canon Speedlite 600EX-RT.

Here is a regular macro shot (non-focus stacked) of moss on a tree.

Another photo of moss growing on a tree.

Landscape shot in the park. Here is a photo of the walking trail.

Here is a scenery shot of the lake.

A photo of the dense forest in the park.

A bird in the park. Not sure what the name is though. If you know, please comment below.

Another scenery shot of the walking trail across the lake. I didn't take that route because it was too sunny.

A small stream of water flowing into the lake.

Some wildlife in the lake.
