Had a few supermarket strawberries go bad on me so I through them in the front yard. I got a lot of strawberry plants growing in the front yard now. LOL Sadly, the snails and other wildlife seems to be better at getting to them before I do...

Photos of loquat on the loquat tree in my front yard. The squirrels and birds are also a pretty big issue with these fruits.

I thought the photo would look nice as a black and white too.

Two photos of some red maple tree leaves.

A black and white process of the photo above.

Some leaves on a tree. I thought the green on green background would make a great photo so I snapped a shot.

A photo of a tree.

Two palm trees. I thought they looked nice contrasted against the blue sky. There were also some pretty good looking clouds that day.

A black and white process of the photo above.

The photos for today will be the last of my photos from Fremont Central Park from this trip. All of the photos will be wildlife photos. The main focus of this post will be of a Canada Geese (Branta canadensis) family.

Spotted this family of Canada Geese (Branta canadensis).

This family of geese will be the focus of the blog post today.

More photos of the babies as they came towards me.

Now they are crossing the walking path to the lake.

Black and white process of the photo above.

They approached the water but was too scared to jump down the ledge. One of the parent geese jumped down to show them, and tried to convince them to go down, but they were too scared.

In the end, these babies circled over to a nearby boat ramp and walked down there.

Here is another photo of a geese. Not sure what species this is.

The photos for today will include some wildlife shots and scenery shots. I hope you enjoy viewing these photos!

Another scenery shot of Lake Elizabeth. Before I left for Pleasanton, the BART construction workers cut a dam across the lake to build the tunnel and to drain part of the lake. This trip there, the dam is gone and the entire lake is now filled. The trail used to be around this area and it cut across to the other shore.

Saw this mother squirrel feeding and coaching her babies. Sadly, the babies all went back into the hole when I finished switching my lens. I went ahead and got a photo of the mother.

Another photo of that squirrel.

Now a photo of a squirrel peeking out from its hole.

Next this little thing ran up to me and started begging for food. Sadly, I had nothing for it, but I decided to get a photo. closer inspection showed this squirrel is blind in one eye. I feel kind of sad I had nothing I can give it. Poor thing.

Here is another few shots of the one-eyed squirrel.

A squirrel staring off into space...

It spotted me!

Another squirrel photo.

Two photos of a Mallard Duck (Anas platyrhynchos).

These are all the photos for today. I will continue with the last of my photos from Central Park tomorrow. Please don't forget to share the blog post with your friends and family members!
