Street Photography - Hong Kong (Part 10)

In the month of December in 2013, I took a trip to China to visit relatives and to travel places and take photos. On this trip, I visited Jiangsu (江苏), Anhui (安徽), Hong Kong (香港), and Macau (澳门). I took many photos on this trip and I will be splitting them into many parts. I will do my best in these blog post to describe the photos, however due to the lack of map data for China (on Google) and my horrible Chinese, I may not be able to give you too much details on certain things. At the time of visit, the smog in China is very heavy. In many of the photos, you will see what looks to be fog or haze, but it is the smog (pollution) in China. Be warned, that the pollution in China is not at safe levels. I started coughing less than one week into the trip, and I did not recover until the beginning of March this year (2014). Many individuals in China had the same cough I got. If you haven't done so, you can view my vlogs here. I already posted all my vlogs (of the entire trip) on Youtube, but these photos will come out in parts.

Here is Part 10, the last of my photos of Hong Kong (香港). The photos for today are all street photography photos from Matheson Street and Hennessy Road.

Tai O Fishing Town (大澳) - Hong Kong (Part 5)

Here is Part 5 of Hong Kong, China, S.A.R. (香港特区). I have photos from Tai O Fishing Town (大澳) for today with one photo from Tung Chung Waterfront Road.

Here is the first photo from Tai O Fishing Town (大澳). The boardwalk the buildings are built on is very famous for this fishing town.

When I first passed her walking into the small town, I felt a bit self conscious getting a photo of her. Walking back toward the bus station, I saw her talking to another man. I felt a bit more comfortable sticking my camera up to them both for a street photography type shot. Turned out pretty nice in my opinion.

 I get back to the bus station to go back to main part of Hong Kong. Here is one final shot of Tai O Fishing Town (大澳).

Before getting on the light rail to get to to Wan Chai, got a photo of this store owner roasting chestnuts. Photo was shot near Tung Chung Waterfront Road.
