Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk - Santa Cruz, CA

A few month back, I took a trip to Santa Cruz and the near by city of Davenport in California. I went to several beaches there that other photographers have recommended to me! They were sure very beautiful. Here are some of the photos I took there. I went to Shark Fin Cove, Panther Beach, Bonny Doon Beach and the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Some of the photos will be like "mini time lapses". If you wish to view those as a slideshow, just click on any image on this blog post and a slideshow should load.

Full Resolution Photos and Prints: If you want to see full resolution photos or buy prints of any of the photos you see, they are up on my portfolio for viewing. To see my best Santa Cruz photos from this trip, use this link. To see all of my Santa Cruz Photos from this trip, use this link.

Today, I have photos from and near Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk in Santa Cruz, CA. Many of the photos are long exposures. If you plan on shooting at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk at night, remember that tripods are not allowed there. Many of the photos for today are from near the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. I only have 1 photo from inside the boardwalk as the security guard came and told me that I can't set up a tripod for shots because people might trip over them. I happily complied and used a higher ISO instead, but just want to put it out there that I have used the same set up in very crowded places such as Pier 39 and never once have anyone tripped over my set up. The only person who almost tripped over it a few times was myself when I'm composing my shot. The giant setup is very hard to miss.
