Photo from Boulton Farms Road in Quilcene, WA. I highly don't agree with the sign. This is our only planet, we need to preserve it. I've seen documentaries of some of the poor areas in Africa that is poor because of over deforestation. The locals said they used to be able to live off the land, but deforestation is what making many of them not able to live anymore. Sadly, seeing this, makes me feel like the residents of Washington is not very well educated. The forests in the US (and in other areas of the world) needs to be protected.
