Today I will continue my photos from Grouse Mountain in North Vancouver, BC, Canada. Grouse Mountain is a ski resort in North Vancouver, that is also open as a tourist attraction when there is no snow. When there is now snow, they have several shows, a wildlife conservation habitat, and a wind energy display called "Eye of the Wind" for tourists to observe. Today I have the rest of the photos from the Birds in Motion show.
Next up in the show is Miguel the Harris's Hawk (Parabuteo unicinctus).
Another few photos of Miguel.
This is Judge Dredd the Turkey Vulture (Cathartes aura).
Another few photos of Judge Dredd. As always with birds in flight, photography is very hard. While there is no issues with Canon's focus tracking, I'm not fast enough to follow them with my camera.
Next up, Darwin the Great Horned Owl (Bubo virginianus).
Here is a photo of Darwin with its beak open.
Another few photos of Darwin.
Next up is the Arrow the Saker Falcon (Falco cherrug). I quickly shot these few photos as Arrow landed. Feel free to click on the first photo to open up a slideshow. That way you can view it like a mini animation.
Another few photos of Arrow.
Another few photos of arrow.
These are all the photos for today. I hope you have enjoyed viewing them. Next time I will continue my photos from Grouse Mountain in North Vancouver, BC, Canada. Next time, I head on a ski lift up to the Eye of the Wind. Please don't forget to share the blog post with your friends and family members!
