Henry Cowell Redwoods SP & Natural Bridges SB (Cellphone Photos)

On the 10th November 2025, my mom and I went to Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park in Felton, CA to see Coast Redwood Trees (Sequoia sempervirens), and later we dropped by Natural Bridges State Beach in Santa Cruz, CA. I took photos with my cellphone. I hope you enjoy viewing my photos!

The first stop on our trip is Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park in Felton, CA.

Our next stop was Natural Bridges State Beach in Santa Cruz, CA. Unfortunately there were not a lot of monarch butterflies present yet. I only saw a small amount through my binoculars. It was a bit of a disappointment.

After this, we made a quick trip to Wilder Ranch State Park in Santa Cruz, CA (no photos), and stopped by Luigi's Pizza and Pasta in Campbell, CA before heading home. I still highly recommend Luigi's Pizza and Pasta (2495 Winchester Blvd, Campbell, CA 95008) if you ever pass by. The food is good!

Monterey, CA Sea Lions & Scenery

On the 17th May 2025, my parents and I took a trip to Monterey, CA and Pacific Grove, CA. We visited Coast Guard Pier, Monterey State Historic Park, Presidio of Monterey, Lovers Point Park, and more. Message from the Photographer: I know these photos are posted incredibly late, unfortunately Long COVID is now destabilizing my condition quite rapidly. I have not been feeling very good for the past month.

We parked at Presidio of Monterey and walked a loop around the coastal wharf areas. I first checked out the museum at the presidio, and also the Sloat Monument (no photos). After that we walked over to San Carlos Beach and Coast Guard Pier.

Afterwards, we went for a walk along Monterey Bay Coastal Trail.

San Carlos Beach Sea Lions (Cellphone Photos) - Monterey, CA

On the 7th September 2025, my parents and I went to San Carlos Beach in Monterey, CA to see the beach filled with sea lions. I saw photos of them online before I went. This was the first time I have seen so many sea lions gathered on a beach. I took photos with my cellphone. I hope you enjoy viewing my photos!

Message from the Photographer: My energy from Long COVID was pretty good yesterday, but also part of it is I'm trying to trigger a crash in hopes they can find some problems on the respiratory system tests next week.

Funny story about the photo above. I did not actually see this sea lion napping in the shadow of the fence until its head popped up over the fence. It gave me quite a nasty shock. 😂

A funny story from the stairs at San Carlos Beach. Two 10 year old girls were standing next to me, and I overheard this conversation.

    "I think that sea lion there is a boy."

    "How do you know?"

    "Look at the pink thing."

    "What pink thing... Oh..."

Anyways, I also took a look. It turns out the long, straight thingy on male sea lions are pink. 😂

Monterey Rock & Rod Festival (21 June 2025) - Cellphone Photos

On the 21st June 2025, my parents and I went to Sand City, CA to see a Ford vehicle at a Ford dealership. Unfortunately once we got there, we found out it was already sold. We headed for Monterey, which was when we came across the ongoing Monterey Rock & Rod Festival at Custom House Plaza. I took photos with my cellphone. I hope you enjoy viewing my photos!

Please note, while I do like seeing vintage vehicles, I am not a vintage vehicle geek, and neither do I know much about it, so the photos aren't going to be labeled in any detail unfortunately. 

Message from the Photographer: While I try to post cellphone photos in a timely manner, unfortunately Long COVID is wrecking havoc on my health and energy levels. I have had to stop the experimental medication my doctor gave me due to poor tolerance of the side effects.
