Autumn Foliage and Street Photography in Pleasanton, CA

A few days ago, I decided to go shoot autumn foliage around my neighborhood again in Pleasanton, CA. This time, I walked toward Downtown Pleasanton. I shot mostly photos of autumn foliage, but I also did a few street photography shots which I will also show in this blog post. The first 2 black and white photos I show here is actually black and white processes from photos from my last trip in Hansen Park, a park in my neighborhood. I did those black and white processes after I posted the blog post last time, so I am displaying it here. If you want to see my autumn foliage shots from last time, you can do so here.

Full Resolution Photos and Prints: If you want to see full resolution photos or buy prints of any of the photos you see, they are up on my portfolio for viewing. To see my best autumn foliage photos for 2013, use this link. To see all of my 2013 Pleasanton photos, use this link.

The black and white processes of the photos I shot at Hansen Park last time. You can see the color version here. I purposely put a orange tint on the second one to simulate a sepia effect which I think adds to the autumn theme.

This is a railing on the side of a bridge. I thought the line on the railing would make a great lead-in line, so I picked a leaf off the floor, placed it on there, and started shooting. It was harder than I make it sound because of the wind. I almost lost the leaf a few times! HAHA

I saw this wonderful leaf on the ground, but it wasn't in a good location. I picked it up and placed it over a crack where 2 concrete slabs joins on the sidewalk.

Another photo of the leaf.

Some leaves on a tree. I thought the sun's back lighting would add a really nice touch to the leaf.

Some sort of fruit. The leaves on this fruit tree is also changing colors for autumn.

Some autumn leaves near my house. This was taken at the end of my walk after the street photography shots, but I wanted to group the autumn foliage shots together.

I then did some street photography in Downtown Pleasanton. This was bricks on the side of a building.
