Point Reyes, Stinson Beach, Muir Beach Overlook - California's Coast

From 7/17/2013 to 8/2/2013, I took a road trip from the SF Bay Area to Vancouver, BC, Canada. Half of the trip was spent driving up the west coast. On my trip, I visited many famous places such as Seattle, Butchart Gardens, Mount Rainier, and much more. Obviously I got many coastal shots and many places that isn't as famous. The reason I am posting it now is because the high amount of photos I took equaled a high amount of processing time. I took a bit over 2000 photos on the trip. After stitching the panoramas, compositing the HDRs, and picking out photos from the repeats, I have a bit over 1000 photos to show you guys. The photos will be split into parts. I will link you to the previous and next parts on each post just like I did with my Death Valley National Park photos and my Yellowstone/Grand Teton National Park photos. Hope you enjoy viewing this chain of posts!

Full Resolution Photos and Prints: If you want to see full resolution photos or buy prints of any of the photos you see, they are up on my portfolio for viewing. To view my best California photos from this trip, use this link. To view all of my day 1 photos, use this link.

Message From The Photographer: That is right, I am getting starting on my SF Bay Area to Vancouver, BC, Canada road trip photos! I know I've been talking about it for month now, but the high amount of images really took a very long time to process. Plus I was busy setting up my portfolio and stuff which delayed things even further. However, I am done with a lot of the things I'm working on, so I will be starting this. Now with this in mind, I do have a trip scheduled for China next month. Yay! Another long chain of posts. 😂 Depending on how many photos I take, it might take as long as this one to process, so don't expect me to post the photos from that trip too soon. I will be continuing to post on this blog and interacting with followers on Google+ from China (I got my ways). Due to my busy schedule in China, I may not interact as often, but I'll probably end up doing what I did when I was on the Vancouver road trip.

The photos for today are from California's Coast. In this post, I will have photos from Point Reyes, Stinson Beach, Muir Beach Overlook and more!

The first few shots were shot at Muir Beach Overlook in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area in Muir Beach, CA.

Here is a black and white process of the photo.

A black and white process of the above photo.

More photos from Muir Beach Overlook.

Just before I left, I shot a photo of the sign so I don't forget where these photos were shot. While, I do have a GPS geotagging my shots, always great to have a back up plan. If you are a photographer, you should try this! Saves a lot of time later.

Now moving onto Stinson Beach in Stinson Beach, CA.

The beach goers a Stinson Beach.

Changing your lens on a beach is highly not recommended, but I did it anyways. LOL Here are 2 photos of a seagull in flight.

Driving up the coast along SR-1, here is Point Reyes Station, CA.
