Autumn Foliage (Napa Valley, CA and Macro)

It is autumn here in California! I recently took a trip to Napa Valley and shot some autumn foliage there. Also for the second part of this blog post, I got some more macro autumn foliage shots! Remember that blog post I posted a while back? I flattened those leaves out in hopes of getting better shots. Sadly the yellow leaf crumbled, but the red leaf stayed intact. I will also show you the macro photos of the red leaf today.

Full Resolution Photos and Prints: If you want to see full resolution photos or buy prints of any of the photos you see, they are up on my portfolio for viewing. If you are interested, please visit one of the following links:
I first start off with the photos I shot in Napa Valley. This was shot on Zinfandel Lane in St. Helena, CA. This was probably the best shot I got that day. They lighting wasn't that good that day as it was cloudy, but the clouds did clear up for a short while which is when I shot this photo.

Another photo I shot near where I shot the photo above. This was shot on Zinfandel Lane in St. Helena, CA. This was actually the 1st photo I took and the one above was the 2nd. I rearranged them because I thought the 2nd one I took was the best one for this trip.

There was this historic railroad car in Rutherford, CA. I shot 2 photos of it. This photo was shot near State Route 128.

Here is another photo of that historic railroad car. This photo was shot near State Route 128 in Rutherford, CA.

Now I move onto the autumn foliage macro. Since I only had 1 good leaf, I only shot one photo, but processed it differently a few times.

Here is a black and white process of the photo.

Here is an abstract type process of the photo.

These are all the photos for today. I hope you have enjoyed viewing them.  Please don't forget to share the blog post with your friends and family members!
