Black Friday Deals Week 2014

Black Friday Deals Week has begun on Amazon and I have the link to the deals page for you guys! Happy shopping! Amazon has the best deals ever including photography and computer accessories during this time of year and best of all is no waiting in line, no camping out, and your merchandise is delivered right to your doorstep! So please enjoy your chance to shop for cheap merchandise without the risk of getting potentially trampled by other shoppers! I have already got quite some nice deals in these past few weeks from the Countdown to Black Friday Deals Week event such as a USB 3.0 Hub, a pair of Bluetooth headphones, and a USB car charger. All of those were pretty nice deals, and works great right now. I will most likely be getting more merchandise as more deals roll out. Amazon will be having many limited time deals on their Black Friday Deals Week and the stream of deals will end as they start Cyber Monday Deals Week after Thanksgiving.

If you wish to be updated with a daily deals list, please follow me on one of my social media sites. On my personal Google+, I will post a deal's round up everyday if I found anything photography, videography related, or if I find some other cool electronics products. On my main photography fan pages such as Google+, Twitter, and Facebook, I will only post if there are photography and videography related deals up.

And as always, please make sure that you use my link before adding anything to your cart! This way, you will be helping support my photography without having to spend extra. :) What happens is, once you click the link, Amazon will pay me a small commission for everything (with some exclusions) you buy in the next 24 hours. I participate in Amazon's Amazon Affiliate Program. The funds goes into helping support my photography such as paying for website storage and buying new equipment. Thank you very much for your support. Happy shopping!

Easy $5 Wall Wart (Power Adapter) Cluster Fix (Video)

Photographer? Have a lot of power adapters and battery chargers? As you know hotels usually do not have many open outlets for you to use and with wall warts (power adapters) covering multiple outlets, how are you suppose to use multiple of them at a time? In this video, I provide you with a easy under $5 compact solution in splitting 1 outlet into 4 with enough room for up to 4 wall warts!

Dislaimer: You follow the instructions in the video at your own risk, I will not be responsible for any damages or injuries you get.

Generally a few battery chargers/power outlets will not overload a power outlet, however you should never plug in high current devices (hair dryers, vacuum cleaners, etc) into an extension cord or power outlet splitter. Also make sure you add up all the wattage ratings on ALL of your adapters and make sure it does not pass the LOWEST allowed wattage on all of your splitters/extension cords.

I got the extension cord and outlet splitter at Walmart in the Hardware Section (I think) where they sell light bulbs. They cost me just right under $5 around $4. I didn't find the same products on Amazon, but I found a few similar to the ones I found at Walmart (they will cost you a bit more than $5 on Amazon). You can find those below.

If you enjoy my video reviews, you can follow me on Youtube here.

Black Friday Deals Week Begins!

Black Friday Deals Week has begun on Amazon guys and I have the link to the deals page for you guys! Happy shopping! Amazon have the best deals ever! Last year I got a camera bag and memory card for 50% off! What a deal! :) So please enjoy your chance to shop for cheap products! The Amazon deals will last for 1 week starting from now. How exciting?

Here are some tips I have for you on getting the deals.
  • Go to the deals page. You can do so with this link
  • First look at the active offers and see if there is anything you want. If you want it, and the deal isn't all used up, add it to your cart! Even if you kind of want to product, do it anyways, you can remove it from your cart later.
  • Once you are done with the active offers, look at the upcoming offers and see if there is anything you want. Do all the research on the product before the deal becomes active!
  • Once you pick out what you want on the upcoming deals, I suggest you refresh your browser 5 minutes before the deal starts as the timer on the page could have lagged a bit. Then 1 minute before it begins, refresh again, and then once the add to cart button pops out, click it!
The offers will be gone very fast, so make sure you are fast on a non-laggy computer! :P That is all the tips I have for you. Hope you have enjoyed it, and please use my link! It helps with costs of running this blog!

Canon's New EOS 6D Full Frame DSLR

Hello photography enthusiasts! Canon has unveiled today their new EOS 6D camera. This new camera is a great upgrade if you are an EOS 7D owner as this camera is only around $2100 USD (Body only) compared to the EOS 7D which was priced around $1500 USD (Body only). If you are making this upgrade, please take note this camera only reads SD cards and are not compatible with EF-S mount lenses. A 20.2 megapixel full frame sensor, a built-in GPS, DIGIC 5+ Image Processor, and a built-in Wifi transmitter are just some of the important components making this new camera unique.

The new built-in GPS allows the camera to include location information in every photo you take. Other Canon DSLRs so far (Example: 5D MkIII7D) requires you to plug in an external GPS in order to recored location information. The new built-in Wifi transmitter allows you to upload photos wirelessly, print photos wirelessly, and control the camera wirelessly. Previous cameras (Example: 5D MkIII7D) needed an external Wifi transmitter in order to do these things. Peripheral Illumination Correction, Chromatic Aberration Correction, and Distortion Correction can also be done in camera.

If I had the money right now, I would totally upgrade from my EOS 7D to this camera. Sadly, I do not have the money right now. HAHA Currently (at the time of writing this post) this camera is up for pre-order at $2099.00 USD plus tax where required on Amazon.com. If you think you want to upgrade, or want to find out a bit more, please follow this link

Specifications:
  • Sensor: 20.2 megapixel full frame (self cleaning via ultrasonic vibrations)
  • Processor: DIGIC 5+
  • GPS: Built-in
  • Wifi: Built-in
  • Memory: SD, SDHC, SDXC Cards
  • Lens Type: EF mount (No EF-S or EF-M lenses)
  • ISO: 50-102400 (when ISO range is expanded in the in-camera settings) ISO Auto can be limited. User can set a high/low limit.
  • Flash: Needs external Speedlite. None built-in.
  • Modes: Auto, Creative Auto, Scene Mode, Program, Shutter Priority, Aperture Priority, Manual, Bulb, 2 Custom Functions
  • AF Type: 11 Point AF including a high-precision center cross-type AF point with EV -3 sensitivity allows focusing in extreme low-light conditions
More specs are available on Amazon.com. I just listed some of the important ones here.
